1. Purchasing a Virtual Accident e-learning course
Some answers to common questions on how to buy a virtual Accident OHS e-learning course.
To buy an OHS e-learning course from Virtual Accident :

- You will need to register a new account with Virtual Accident
- Visit the Virtual Accident Shop and select the courses you would like to buy
- Select the number of course seats you would like to purchase
- Complete any remaining details on the Checkout page
- Pay using your credit card on PayPal or using a purchase order
- Follow the instructions you receive in the emails we send to you.

Virtual Accident have two secure payment methods available for you to purchase our OHS e-learning courses.
Credit Card via PayPal.

- We do not have any of your details stored with us.
- You will need your own PayPal account.

- When you purchase this way your courses are automatically set up and emails with instructions sent out to you.

Purchase Order

- If you buy a significant number of courses we prefer you to use this option.
- Upload your Purchase Order document ( PDF, Doc and Docx formats only ).
- We will contact you to confirm payment before provisioning your courses and sending out instructions in an email.

The Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged on all purchases made within Australian of Australian goods and services.
When you buy a Virtual Accident OHS e-learning course, if you are an Australian University, Institution or company, you will be charged GST at the time of purchase.
For Australian Entities

GST will be:
- Charged at the time of purchase,
- Will be inclusive of purchase price and
- Will be displayed on your invoice.

For Overseas Entities

- GST will not be charged for purchases made with non-Australian addresses.
- The purchase price will be discounted by the amount of GST normally applied to Australian based orders.

An LMS is a Learning Management System. You can consider an LMS a website specifically designed for running e-learning courses.

2. Troubleshooting
Your computer or device will need to meet some minimum technical requirements to run a Virtual Accident e-learning course.

If you do have any issues or questions regarding the system requirements, please contact your local Course Administrator in the first instance. This will usually be the person who sent you the email for the course.
If you need to clear you browser cache, try these suggestions:

- Hold the Shift key down and select the Refresh button or icon in your browser
- Windows : select the – [ Ctrl ] + [ Shift ] + [ R ]
- Windows : select the – [ Ctrl ] + [ F5 ]
- Mac : select – [ Cmd ] + [ Shift ] + [ R ] NOTE : The keyboard shortcut doesn’t work on Safari.

The Shift+Refresh clears the cache for the files in that page so the most recent files are downloaded from the website.
After that, if you think your Browser Cache is still not clearing, contact your local Course Administrator for assistance

Cookies are used by Moodle to determine user activity and set log out times. If you have been logged in to a course for a while, but not doing anything (you may have gone to a meeting or had to run an experiment), Moodle may log you out automatically.
NOTE : As soon as you refresh the page or do something on the page (move a mouse, click a button etc.) the Moodle timeout value is reset at the timer begins again.
From time to time, Virtual Accident will make changes and updates to our e-learning courses.

- Virtual Accident will send out reminder emails to ensure you have time to complete the course before we make any changes to the courses.
- However, if you were currently undertaking a course and had not completed the course when the updates were made, you will lose your answers and scores.
- You will need to restart the course again.

Your Australian Access Federation (AAF) account details have precedence over those stored at Virtual Accident and will over write any changes you make on the Virtual Accident websites.

- Contact your organisation to update any of your account details.
- You will not lose access to your courses or your account. Your access is based upon the AAF Organisation details.

There may be several reasons for this:

- Confirm the format of the Purchase Order Document meets the required file types : PDF, DOC, DOCX
- Confirm that the [ Delete ] button is displayed below your Purchase Order Document file
- NOTE : If you select the [ Proceed ] button before the file is fully uploaded, an error will be displayed
- Even if the file progress bar indicates 100%, wait until the [ Delete ] button is displayed below the file name.
