In this Privacy Policy:

  • “we” “us” and “our” refers to Interactive Developments and/or Virtual Accident Pty Ltd and its website.
  • “this” and “these” refers to our product(s), website and terms and conditions.
  • “you” and “your” refers to our customer(s) and the End User(s) of our product(s).
  • “Access” means to connect via the internet to our website and, whether directly or through our hosted service(s), use it to view and interact with our website. This includes but is not limited to doing things like viewing our webpage(s), logging into your account(s), downloading our product(s) and undertaking similar interactions (e.g. buying our products using our website).

  • “Product(s)” refers to the entire or any part of online learning product(s) or services made available by us to you on our website or through workshops, digital storage mediums (e.g. USB drives) and paper-based products. 1. General Use Rights
1.1  Your access to and use of all the information on our website, including the purchase of our product(s) and your use of our hosting services, is provided subject to agreeing to our Privacy Policy and consenting to its terms.

You agree to our Privacy Policy and consent to its terms by either:

  • being granted a free licence or evaluation copy and installing our product(s).

This means that you become a registered user and with our permission we allow you to download, install or use our product(s) (whichever comes first).

1.2  We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and your use of the website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by this Privacy Policy as amended. We therefore recommend that each time you access our website you read these terms and conditions.

1.3  By using this website you agree:

  • to the Privacy Policy of this website, which is set out in this document on our website page.
  • that we do not make any representations about Third Party websites that may be linked to our website or hosted services that we may use.

2. Personal Information
We recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected about visitors to our website, in particular personal information that is capable of identifying an individual. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which your personal information, obtained through the website, will be dealt with. For example, we may need to collect such information to provide you with further services or to answer or forward any requests or enquiries. 5.1 Registration is necessary and may occur via us, the AAF (see 5.1 AAF Registration below) or another external registration service. Registration may include submitting your name, email address, address, telephone numbers, photographic evidence, an option on receiving updates and promotional material and other possible information. If your registration is through us, you may access this information at any time by logging in and going into your account or contacting us (see 12: Problems or Questions below).

5.2 AAF (Australian Access Federation) Registration
If you have a registered AAF account, their registration rules apply.

6. Credit Card Details
6.1  We have no intention of storing any Credit Card details and any storage would be inadvertent and we would dispose of any such details in a careful manner.

6.2 If you use a Third Party payment system to buy our products, we take no responsibility for any breach of data nor privacy that may occur when you use these sites.

7. Disclosure
Apart from where you have consented or when disclosure is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was submitted, personal information may be disclosed in special situations where we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring, or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or products, other users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities.

Additionally, we may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law (in Victoria, Australia or elsewhere) requires disclosure.

However, we make no guarantee around the security of any data transmission that is sent over the Internet.

In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us. However, we will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.

9.1 We will collect information about you and your interaction with our product(s).

9.2 We will also collect personal information about you in order to assist us with managing your account and verifying your licence.

9.3 We use cookies and applets and will store your session ID and monitor your user(s) access. We may also place cookies in your browser and in HTML-based emails. We use cookies for a variety of purposes, but if they collate aggregate, non-personal information we may use this information to assist us in analysing the usage of our website.

We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. If, at any time, you discover that information held about you is incorrect, you may contact us to have the information corrected.

In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.

11.1 We provide links to websites outside of our websites, as well as to Third Party websites. These linked Third Party websites are not under our control, and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of companies linked to our website. Before disclosing your personal information on any other Third Party website, we advise you to examine the terms and conditions of using that Third Party website and the Third Party website privacy statement or policy.

11.2 Similarly, we also cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of any Third Party hosted services we provide to you through our website.
